Working With Your Photo Booth OutdoorsUpdated 3 months ago
Foto Master's Photo Booths can work outdoors with some caveats.
The most important thing is to scout/test the location and maybe find a shaded spot with minimum reflections, and of course, set the expectations with your client.
If there is a lot of sunlight or reflections the animations won't look as vivid or even "washed-out", similar to looking at your smartphone screen in direct sunlight. You can try to set the brightness and contrast of the TV display.
The touchscreen is based on infra-red technology which means that if there is a direct sunlight or if it is very sunny at the venue, the touchscreen might not work properly.
- You can use Kinect Sensor to operate the Mirror Me Booth using trigger gestures like "Smile to start/Raise hands/person detection"
- Another option is to use a wireless keyboard and the operator will assist the guests.
Having said that, you will still enjoy a photo booth that takes pictures prints them and sharing them on site.
