How to Upgrade to DMBot V1 (Cloud-Based Version)Updated 4 months ago

This guide explains how to upgrade from the legacy Draw Me Bot v3 software to the new cloud-powered DMBot application.

🔹 Part 1: Upgrade DMBot for macOS

1. Log out of your existing Draw Me Bot software.

2. In the Documents folder, rename the DrawMeBot folder to DrawMeBot_OLD.

3. Delete the current Draw Me Bot application from your Mac.

4. Download the latest DMBot software and extract the zip file.

5. Move the new app into your Applications folder.

6. Double-click to open it.

7. Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll down, and approve the app to open.

8. Reopen the app and log in using your Cloud credentials.

9. Create your first event on the Cloud.

10. Use FMBooth for iPadOS or FMBooth for Windows (v2+) with AI Draw Me to send drawings to the DMBot app.

11. You’re now ready to wow your guests with the new AI-driven experience!

🔹 Part 2: Upgrade FMBooth for iPadOS (Version 2+)

FMBooth for iPadOS (version 2 and above) is fully integrated with the Cloud and supports the new AI Draw Me step. 

Follow these steps to upgrade:

1. Open your current FMBooth app and log out.

2. (Optional) Use the Files app on your iPad to copy the contents of the FMBooth folder to another location as a backup.

3. Delete the FMBooth app from your iPad.

4. Download and install the latest version of FMBooth for iPadOS (v2+).

5. Log in with your Cloud credentials.

6. Once logged in, you’ll see new starter content, including updated AI Draw Me workflows.

7. Navigate to the Download Center in the app to explore additional AI Draw Me presets.
