Transferring Your File To The iPad

There are many different methods of transferring files from your computer to your iPad. Here are some:

  1. AirDrop: If you are using a MAC computer, you can Airdrop the file to your iPad. The file will automatically save in your camera roll from which you will be able to copy it to the files section.
  2. Email: Use email to send yourself the file. You can open your inbox on your iPad to save the file.
  3. Wetransfer: Great method for larger files. Browse to https://wetransfer.com/

Animation

Once you have your animation file ready, all you have to do is to place it in the Preset Pack. How do you do that?

  • Transfer your file to the iPad
  • Open the File on your iPad, select Save to Files > On My iPad > FMBooth > Workflows > Animations. You can save the file in an existing category or create your own category folder.
  • Open the app and go to your desired workflow. Select the Animation state you wish to change and select your custom animation.

* The animation file needs to be in .mp4 or .mov (with h264 transparency) format

Overlay and Background

  • In order to add a custom file as the background or overlay all you need to do is to make sure that the files are saved in the iPad's gallery.
  • Once it is there, open the app, and in the Photo Layout tab select +Add Visual Element and select it to be Eternal Image - if you are creating the layout from scratch, or choose the existing External Image element if you are changing an existing layout.
  • Click the settings icon at the end of that element's row
  • If you are adding an Overlay, make sure you are on the Foregrounds options and press the + icon to open your iPad's gallery.
  • If you are adding a Background, choose the Background option and press the + icon to open your iPad's gallery.

* The file needs to be in .jpg/.jpeg, .png format
