How To Use The FMSlide Software
FMSlide displays event photos and videos as a live slideshow on a secondary screen. Use it for reception displays, trade show screens, lobby monitors, and any event where guests should see media appear automatically as it is captured.
Basic Workflow
- Open FMSlide.
- Log in with your Foto Master Cloud account or FMSlide license.
- Select the event you want to display.
- Choose the media source:
- Local watched folder
- Foto Master Cloud event media
- Both, when your setup needs local and cloud media
- Configure slideshow timing and transitions.
- Move FMSlide to the display screen and enter full-screen mode.
New media appear in the slideshow automatically after it is added to the selected source.
Choose Media Types
Depending on the event workflow, FMSlide can display:
- Final photos
- Raw photos
- Videos
- Cloud-downloaded media
- Local folder media
Use final photos for most live event screens. Use raw photos only when you intentionally want unprocessed captures to appear.
Configure the Slideshow
Set these options before the event starts:
- Display duration for each photo
- Transition style
- Sequential or random transition order
- Background color
- Video playback behavior
- Content moderation, when available
- Logging for troubleshooting
Run a short test with sample images and videos to confirm the display looks correct on the actual screen.
Event Operation
During the event:
- Keep FMSlide running on the display computer.
- Confirm that new media is appearing.
- Watch for moderation or download errors.
- Keep the display computer connected to the internet if Cloud download is enabled.
- Avoid changing event selection while guests are actively capturing content.
