We would like FMX to support starting the workflow directly from the DSLR camera shutter button. When the operator presses the camera’s shutter button, FMX should save the captured photo and automatically continue to the next step in the workflow, the same way it does after the current “Take Photo” action.
Currently you can not move the Camera layer in layout editor when elements are on top. If I lock the Image/Text/etc. layers I should be able to move it without effecting the others. An auto placeholder creator that identifies alpha openings would be supreme.
It would be great to be able to resend a text or email from the cloud versus the software itself
I would like to see a way to print wirelessly from an iPad or PC wirelessly a print server on a computer connected to a printer. Similar to FM print but without having to be connected to the internet. Using a local network to transmit from the device. Taking the pictures to the print server so we can print them.
Requesting the integration of native Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) controls for the Salsa Booth and Mobibooth Aura hardware systems within the software workflow. 1. Salsa Booth Integration: The Salsa Booth uses a standard commercial SP107E Bluetooth pixel controller (operates on the Sperll/BanlanX protocol). The software needs to scan for peripheral name "SP107E" and write standard hex byte arrays to command states like countdown chases, static ring light modes, and full brightness exposure flashes. 2. Mobibooth Aura Integration: The Aura uses Mobibooth's custom proprietary internal BLE module (broadcasts as "Mobibooth" or "MB-LED"). The dev team will need to use standard BLE GATT service/characteristic UUIDs to communicate with it. Implementing these allows the software to natively trigger animations and exposure flashes directly on these popular iPad booth shells, identical to how competitor apps (like Snappic) handle them.
I would like to suggest an improvement for the online gallery/share page. When guests scan the QR code and open their photo, they currently get to the sharing area. It would be very helpful if this page could also include social media links from the photo booth provider. There is currently no way for photo booth providers to promote their social media profiles or website in the online gallery after guests scan the QR code.
This would be a request for FMX Windows & FMX iOS. Would like to be able to enter multiple overlays and/or AI actions and the system would equally rotate through them so each item get equal use
I would like to be able to select multiple printer options on the iPad app.
As a user, I want to be able to put branding as well as buttons on the QR code screen. Bonus if we could even change the colors of the QR code to match the branding of our event. Doing this allows us to keep consistency throughout the branding experience of the photo booth, as well as putting any type of text or information as to what a user needs to do next in the event that this is an unattended setup.
I previously reported that the German animations play incorrectly when using the Playback Ended trigger. Your team explained that these animations were originally designed to work with fixed time triggers (for example, Prints_DE_5800.mp4 with a 5.8-second trigger). While this workaround works for individual animations, it creates another problem when using Random Animations, because only one trigger time can be configured for all videos, even though the German animations have different durations.
The core request: The ability to trigger different workflows based on a scanned QR code or an entered code. I'd like a code, either scanned via the camera or typed in on screen, to determine which content or flow a session uses. Two levels, if helpful for prioritization: Basic: A code switches between a few predefined workflows or templates (e.g. code A → flow 1, code B → flow 2). Advanced: A mapping table (e.g. CSV import) assigns an individual value to each code, code → prompt / text / layout / background — so the experience can be personalized per guest. Ideally the AI prompt would be variable per code as well. Use case: For weddings, the couple selects individual guests in advance (parents, best man, maid of honor). Each receives their own code. When a guest scans or enters it at the mirror, content prepared specifically for them is triggered — for example a personalized AI image prompt or a personal welcome screen. Why this matters: AI features are quickly becoming standard, so differentiation now comes from personalization and emotional storytelling. Code-triggered, individualized guest experiences would be a strong unique selling point — and to my knowledge no competitor currently offers this. Could you let me know whether code-based workflow triggering is feasible or perhaps already on your roadmap? Best regards, Thorsten
Hi FotoMaster team, I have a question and feature request regarding Experience View. When I go to the Select Preset page, I’m able to see FotoMaster’s preset Experience Views in a full visual preview format. I’m wondering whether there is a way to view the full Experience View that I created myself in the same kind of display/preview on the website. In other words, I’d like to know whether custom Experience Views can be previewed in the same way that FotoMaster preset Experience Views are shown on the preset selection page. If this is already possible, could you please let me know how to access that view? If it is not currently available, I’d like to suggest it as a future feature. It would be extremely helpful to be able to preview the full custom Experience View directly from the website without having to load it onto the Mirror booth first. Right now, in order to see what I created, I need to physically take out the Mirror booth, set it up, and test the Experience View on the hardware itself. This makes the process of building and reviewing Experience Views very time-consuming, especially when I want to check multiple screens, the full flow, or small design changes before an event. It would also be very valuable if there were a way to share that full Experience View preview with a client before the event, so they could review the flow, provide feedback, and approve the design in advance without needing the booth to be set up. Thank you in advance for your help.
Hi, I found a problem with the German animations. They don’t play correctly. Every animation is played more than once (about 1.5 times) before the next one starts. It looks like the animation repeats instead of playing only once. Could you please check and fix this? Thank you! One example is Prints_DE_5800.mp4, but I believe this issue affects all German animation files, not just this one.
When editing a preset in FMX cloud and loading a new item from My Assets I can not click the Root folder. I am stuck inside Animations. I have the assets folder laid out as I need it, and I need to go to Root to find things. This used to work.
