How To Use The Email Feature

General

To enable Email sharing, access the Settings window > Features tab, and under Publish Feature, enable the Email Button.

Settings

The Email feature includes several configurable options:

Delete Final Photo When Email is Sent (Not Recommended): If selected, final photos are removed from the event folder after sending emails.

Enable Sending Multiple Emails: Check this box to allow users to send emails to multiple addresses simultaneously.

Show Disclaimer: When selected, a disclaimer appears before email transmission occurs.

Email Service PHP: Foto Master provides a server-side script for sending emails through your own server. Your server must support the PHP mail() function and have an email server installed. Contact support for server configuration details.

From Email: Configure the sender's email address.

Subject: Customize the email subject line.

Message: Create the email message content.

Save Emails: Enable this to store email addresses in a .txt file within your event folder.

Collect Emails: Choose between three options:

  • Auto Collect Emails
  • Collect Emails if Allowed by User
  • Do not collect Emails

When Collect Emails if Allowed by User is selected, an additional checkbox appears on the disclaimer for user consent.

An emails.csv file is created in the event folder listing all entered addresses and corresponding media file counts. Without internet during events, the software automatically sends emails upon reconnection.
