Draw Me Bot - Working Speed

Legacy Article: This article covers the legacy Draw Me Bot software. Draw Me Bot has been replaced by DMBot. See DMBot documentation →

Overview

The Draw Me Bot now includes an adjustable speed feature that lets users modify the robotic arm's drawing pace based on event needs. This capability can reduce drawing time by approximately half, making it ideal for managing large crowds at events.

Available Speed Options

Four working speed settings are available:

  • Normal
  • Fast (default setting)
  • Speedy
  • Turbo

Important note: The faster the speed the quality of the drawing can change and can be more visible the thinner the marker used.

How to Change Speed

Access the "Settings" tab in the MAC software, select your preferred speed option, and click "Save" to apply the changes.

Critical Timing Information

A key limitation exists regarding when speed changes take effect:

The selected speed will be applied to all the photos that will be added to the drawing queue after it was changed. All the photos that were already in the drawing queue before the speed was changed will be drawn with the original speed and not the changed one.

Practical Benefits

Users can switch between speeds during events to adjust to the event's flow, making it a flexible tool for managing drawing time across different scenarios and crowd sizes.
