How to Install FMX 2.0

Updated Yesterday · 2 min read

We are excited to help you get started with the latest version of our software! FMX 2.0 features improved performance and stability, and we have made the installation process as seamless as possible.

Important Note: Installation Over FMX 1.0

If you are currently using FMX 1.0, you do not need to uninstall your previous version. The FMX 2.0 installer is designed to install directly "on top" of your existing FMX 1.0 installation. This process will update your software while preserving your current settings and configurations.

Before beginning the installation, please ensure your system meets the following requirements:

  • Operating System: Windows 10 or 11.

  • Permissions: You must have Administrator access to your computer to perform the installation.

  • Connectivity: An active internet connection is required to download the installer and verify your license.

Installation Steps

  1. Download the Installer: Obtain the official FMX 2.0 installation file from your Foto Master Cloud Dashboard.

  2. Run the Installer: Once the download is complete, locate the file (usually in your "Downloads" folder) and double-click it to begin. If the file is in a zipped (.zip) folder, please right-click the folder and select Extract All to unzip the contents before proceeding.

  3. Follow the Prompts: The installation wizard will open. Simply follow the on-screen instructions, agreeing to the terms and conditions as prompted.

  4. Complete the Process: Because the installer detects your existing FMX 1.0 environment, it will automatically overwrite the necessary files to upgrade you to version 2.0.

  5. Finalize: Once the progress bar reaches the end, you can click Launch to open your new software installation!
