Tower Mirror Booth: Setup Checklist

Updated Today · 1 min readBeginner

Space and Positioning

  1. Confirm a minimum 0.8m × 0.8m base area, plus a 1.5m clear guest area in front of the tower.
  2. Verify ceiling clearance — the tower needs at least 2.2m of vertical space.
  3. Place the tower on a flat, stable surface. Because of its tall, narrow profile, position it away from foot traffic that could bump or destabilise the unit.

Hardware Assembly

  1. Unfold the base and lock the stabilising feet.
  2. Erect the tower column and confirm it is plumb (vertical). The mirror should sit flush against the column without any visible gap.
  3. Connect the multi-touch display cable and the camera cable to the internal PC.
  4. If using an LED Ring, mount it at the designated attachment point and connect its power.
  5. Run the main power cable to a standard 110–240V outlet and switch on.

Pre-Software Checks

  • Multi-touch display responds at the edges and the centre.
  • Camera is visible in Windows Device Manager.
  • Printer (if connected) is loaded with paper and showing a ready state.
  • Network connection is confirmed — Ethernet preferred for permanent installations, Wi-Fi acceptable for events.
  • Tower remains stable when the display is touched at all four corners.
