How It Works

1. Guest takes a photo at the booth against any backdrop -- a plain wall, an event venue, or even an outdoor setting.
2. AI removes the background -- The AI detects the subject (person or people) and removes everything behind them, creating a transparent or replaced background.
3. Custom background is applied -- Your chosen background image is composited behind the subject.
4. Final image is delivered -- The result looks as if the guest was photographed in front of the custom background all along.

• Avoid green clothing. While AI removal handles green better than traditional chroma key, bright green items very close to the body edge can occasionally cause artifacts.
• Good lighting on the subject is key. Well-lit subjects with clear edges are easier for the AI to separate from the background. Avoid backlighting that creates silhouettes.
• Contrast between subject and background helps. A dark-haired person against a dark wall is harder to separate than against a lighter background.
• Watch for loose hair and fine details. AI handles these better than traditional green screens, but very wispy hair or translucent accessories may not separate perfectly.
• Full body shots require more care. The AI handles head-and-shoulders framing very well. Full body shots with feet near the floor line can sometimes have softer edges.
• Test in your actual venue. Run a few test shots in the event space with the actual lighting before guests arrive.
