All AI features work seamlessly across every Foto Master software product, including FMX for Windows, FMX for iPadOS, and other connected applications. There is nothing to install locally -- every AI operation is processed in the cloud and delivered back to your booth in seconds.

How AI Processing Works

Every AI feature in Foto Master follows the same general flow:

Capture -- A guest takes a photo (or draws a sketch) at the booth.
Upload -- The image is sent securely to Foto Master Cloud.
Process -- The AI engine applies the selected transformation.
Deliver -- The finished result is returned to the booth software for display, printing, or sharing.

Because processing happens in the cloud, your booth hardware does not need a powerful GPU. A stable internet connection is the most important requirement.

Credit-Based System

AI features operate on a credit-based system:

Each AI operation costs credits. The exact cost per operation depends on the feature and your subscription plan.
Credits are tied to your Foto Master Cloud account. You can monitor your credit balance and usage history from the Cloud dashboard.
Different plans offer different credit rates. Higher-tier plans provide more credits at a lower per-operation cost.
Credits are consumed only on successful processing. If an operation fails due to a system error, credits are not deducted.

Tip: Keep an eye on your credit balance before large events. Running out of credits mid-event means AI features will stop working until credits are replenished.

Processing Modes

Foto Master Cloud offers multiple processing modes that let you balance quality against speed:

Enabling AI Features in Your Workflow

To start using AI features:

Sign in to Foto Master Cloud at cloud.fotomaster.com and ensure your account has an active plan with available credits.
Connect your booth software to your Cloud account using your API credentials.
Open your workflow editor in FMX (Windows or iPad).
Add an AI node to your workflow. Each AI feature appears as a selectable node or action.
Configure the AI settings -- choose the feature, processing mode, style options, and any prompts or assets required.
Test before the event. Run a few test shots to confirm the AI feature is working correctly and producing the results you expect.
