How To Use AI Group Headshot

Heads up: For better results, we recommend using AI Modify or AI Combine instead of AI Group Headshot. Both give you more control over the output and tend to handle group photos more consistently.

AI Group Headshot creates AI-generated portraits from photos with multiple people. It is best for corporate teams, weddings, school events, family portraits, and premium group activations.

Requirements

• Foto Master Cloud account
• Basic or Pro plan
• Internet connection during the event
• A workflow with the Cloud AI feature enabled
• Clear lighting and visible faces for every guest in the group

Workflow Setup

1. Open the event workflow.
2. Add or select the Cloud AI feature step.
3. Choose AI Group Headshot.
4. Select the model type.
5. Select a style.
6. Add or adjust the prompt.
7. Add an AI Processing trigger before previewing the result so the workflow waits for the generation to finish.
8. Save the workflow and sync FMX.

Model Types

• Speed: Faster generation with less detail.
• Quality: Better detail and stronger prompt adherence.
• Ultra / Elite: Best group handling and highest quality, with longer processing time.

Styles

Common group styles include Realistic, Anime, Watercolor, 3D, and custom prompt-based looks.

For events with children, use Watercolor or another kid-safe style when available.

Best Practices

• Keep all faces visible and well-lit.
• Avoid very large groups unless the camera is close enough for face detection.
• Test the prompt before the event.
• Use animations or a transition step while the AI processes.
• Keep a fallback workflow ready in case the internet quality is poor.
