Overview
This guide covers calibration procedures for the Epson C3500 printer when printing 2x2" tiles for photo mosaic walls.
Required Downloads
- TM-C3500 Firmware Updater -- Essential update that must be installed first
- Epson C3500 Driver V2.3 -- Printer driver software
- PMW_2 Media Definition -- Media configuration file for proper tile printing
Pre-Calibration Steps
Hardware Preparation
- Open up the Color Cartridges chamber
- Remove the rubber protector of the DSW
- Locate and push pin number 3 upwards to enable calibration mode
Driver Configuration
Access Printing Preferences
- Navigate to Devices and Printers in Windows Control Panel
- Right-click the Epson C3500 printer icon
- Select Printing Preferences from the context menu
Media Definition Setup
- Click on Media Definition tab within preferences
- Load the PMW_2 Media Definition file
- Configure settings for 2x2" tile dimensions

The calibration process ensures proper alignment and color accuracy when printing individual mosaic tiles. Media definition parameters must match your specific label roll specifications to achieve consistent results across multiple tile prints.
Important Notes
