Overview
Photo Mosaic Wall software (Version 4 and later) enables users to incorporate a transparent PNG overlay that functions as a design element layered atop the primary mosaic photo.
Technical Specifications
File Format Requirements:
- The overlay must be saved as a
.pngfile - Design elements should be positioned on the transparent areas of the file
- Resolution should match the main photo's dimensions exactly
Setup Process
The recommended workflow:
- Load your primary image into photo editing software (such as Photoshop) as a base layer
- Create the overlay design on top of it
- Before exporting, remove the base photo layer, leaving only your transparent overlay design
- Save as PNG with transparency
- Load both the main photo and transparent overlay into the Photo Mosaic Wall software
- Configure activation settings as you normally would
Key Consideration
"The overlay resolution should be the same as the main's photo resolution. When creating the overlay, make sure to adjust the overlay file elements' location to align properly with your base image."
This feature allows for creative customization by enabling users to add design elements, text, borders, or other visual components that blend seamlessly with their mosaic composition.
