Overview

This guide provides instructions for calibrating an Epson C4000 printer specifically for 2x2 inch tiles used in photo mosaic wall applications.

Required Downloads

Two essential files must be obtained:

  1. Epson C4000 Driver V1101 -- The printer driver software needed for proper operation
  2. FM_C4000_2x2 Media Definition -- Configuration file specific to 2x2 tile dimensions

Both files are available through Google Drive links provided in the original documentation.

Setup Process

Access Printer Settings

  1. Navigate to Devices and Printers in Windows Control Panel
  2. Locate your Epson C4000 printer installation
  3. Right-click on the printer and select Printing Preferences

This opens the driver configuration interface where media settings and calibration parameters can be adjusted.

Key Considerations

The media definition file is crucial as it contains the specific parameters for 2x2 inch tiles, ensuring proper ink application and color accuracy. Without this customized profile, the printer may not produce optimal results for mosaic wall applications.

This calibration approach allows users to achieve consistent, high-quality output when creating photo mosaic wall projects using standardized tile dimensions.
