Session Logs Overview: Columns and Data Explained

This section provides a detailed view of all Photo Booth sessions. Each row represents a single session, while each column displays specific information about what happened during that session. Understanding these columns will help you monitor performance, track user activity, and troubleshoot issues efficiently.

Column Breakdown

# (Session Number)

This column shows the sequence number of each session.

  • It helps you quickly identify and reference a specific session. 
  • Sessions are typically listed in chronological order. 

Start Time

Displays the exact date and time when the session began.

  • Useful for tracking when the booth was used. 
  • Helps correlate sessions with specific events or users. 

Duration

Indicates how long the session lasted.

  • Measured in minutes and seconds. 
  • If the session was not completed properly, it may show as “incomplete.” 

Steps

Shows the number of steps completed during the session.

  • Each step represents an action within the workflow (e.g., selection screen, capture, sharing).

Email

Displays how many times media was shared via Email during the session.

  • A value of 0 means no email sharing occurred. 
  • Helps track user engagement with email sharing features. 

SMS

Indicates how many times the media was shared via SMS (text message).

  • Useful for monitoring usage of mobile sharing. 
  • A higher number suggests active user interaction.

Media

Represents the number of media files generated in the session.

  • Includes photos, videos, or outputs created. 
  • Helps verify if captures were successful.

Survey

Shows the number of survey responses collected during the session.

  • Indicates whether users completed any survey steps. 
  • Useful for gathering and analyzing user data. 

How to Use This Section Effectively

  • Monitor Activity: Quickly see how many sessions were completed and when they occurred. 
  • Track Engagement: Check Email, SMS, and Survey columns to understand user interaction. 
  • Identify Issues: Sessions marked as incomplete or with low step counts may indicate problems in the workflow. 
  • Verify Outputs: Use the Media column to confirm that photos or videos were successfully created.
