AI Workflow Generator

Updated Today · 2 min read

The AI Workflow Generator is a chat-based mode inside the FMX Cloud Workflow Builder that builds photo booth workflows from a plain-language description. Instead of placing steps manually, you describe the experience you want — and the AI generates the complete workflow structure for you.

What It Generates

From a single prompt, the AI Workflow Generator produces:

  • The full logic flow of the workflow
  • All required steps and screens (welcome, capture, selection, sharing, etc.)
  • Matching animations and feature configurations
  • A ready-to-run workflow you can immediately test or customize further

In most cases, the generated workflow is 90%+ ready to use. You review it, make any refinements, and go live — without building from scratch.

How to Use It

  1. Open the Workflow Builder in Foto Master Cloud
  2. Switch to AI Chat View (the third mode option alongside List and Node View)
  3. Describe the experience you want in plain language
  4. The AI generates the workflow — review and edit it as needed
  5. Save and sync to FMX

Example Prompts

You do not need to be a "prompt engineer." Describe the event the same way you would explain it to a colleague:

  • "A photo booth for a corporate event with three AI-style options, print, and email sharing"
  • "A mirror booth experience for a wedding — one capture, AI Headshot transformation, then guests choose print or SMS"
  • "Selfie-style booth where guests see a 3-second countdown, capture a photo, and get an AI cartoon version sent to their phone"

The more specific your prompt, the closer the result will be to your vision. If the output needs a small adjustment, edit it in Node View or List View after generation.

When to Use It vs Templates

  • Use a template when you need a standard experience quickly — templates are pre-built, tested, and production-ready for common event types.
  • Use the AI generator when a client asks for something specific or non-standard that does not match any existing template. Instead of building the logic manually, let the AI create the starting point.

Important: Always review and test AI-generated workflows before going live. The AI builds a strong starting point — not a guaranteed final product. Run a full test session and verify every step behaves as expected.

Three Workflow Builder Modes

You can switch between all three modes at any time during workflow design:

  • Node View — visual canvas with connected nodes. Best for understanding complex branching logic.
  • List Mode — simple, linear view. Great for standard step sequences and familiar to anyone coming from FMX.
  • AI Chat View — describe and generate. Best for starting from a unique brief or client concept.
