Global Settings: Photo CaptureUpdated 3 hours ago
The Photo Capture section provides key settings that control how images are captured and processed during the experience. It includes options such as Screen Flash, Hi-Res Capture, and Test Mode, each designed to enhance image quality, optimize output, or assist with testing and setup.
Screen Flash
When enabled, Screen Flash uses the iPad’s screen as a temporary light source during photo capture. The screen briefly turns bright (usually white). This results in slightly brighter and clearer photos.
Hi-Res Capture
Enabling Hi-Res Capture allows the system to save a high-resolution version of each photo. This ensures better image quality, making it ideal for printing or high-quality sharing. However, higher resolution files will also consume more storage space on the device.
Test Mode
When Test Mode is enabled, the system uses pre-existing assets or sample images stored in the base Folder instead of capturing real photos from the camera. This is useful for testing workflows, layouts, and sharing features without needing to take actual photos during setup or troubleshooting.
The base folder that is used is: FMX-> Assets -> TestPhoto -> Test#.jpg
