Photo Mosaic Wall + FMX for iPad

FMX for iPad feeds photos into a PMWall mosaic the same way Selfie Wi-Fi and FMX for Windows do: everything flows through the Foto Master Cloud event gallery. This setup suits an iPad booth running alongside the mosaic, both connected to the same Cloud event.

What You Need

  • An iPad with FMX for iPad installed and an active license
  • An active PMWall license
  • A Foto Master Cloud account with an event and Online Gallery created
  • The iPad and the mosaic PC both connected to the internet

How It Works

  1. A guest takes a photo on the iPad booth.
  2. The photo uploads to the event's Foto Master Cloud gallery.
  3. PMWall downloads the photo from that gallery.
  4. The mosaic updates live on screen.

Both applications point at the same Cloud event. That shared event is the entire integration -- the iPad never talks to the mosaic PC directly, and there is no agent to install.

Workflow Setup in Cloud

  1. In Foto Master Cloud, open the Workflow for your event.
  2. Select the corresponding Layout.
  3. Add a photo capture step.
  4. Add a Share/Upload step so photos reach the Cloud gallery.
  5. Save and assign the preset to your event.

On the iPad

  1. Open FMX for iPad and sign in with your Cloud credentials.
  2. Select your event and sync it.
  3. Start the booth experience.

Keep the iPad on stable Wi-Fi for the whole event. Photos that cannot upload will not reach the mosaic.

On the PMWall PC

  1. Open PMWall and sign in with your Foto Master Cloud account.
  2. Open the Dashboard tab, select the same event under Event Management, and click Sync Event.
  3. Open Settings > Cloud and confirm Download Raw Photos is enabled. This is what pulls booth photos into the mosaic.
  4. Return to the Dashboard and click Start Mosaic.

Tip: Once both are running, take a test photo on the iPad and confirm it appears on the wall before going live. Watch Raw Seen under Runtime Stats -- if it does not increase, the photo never reached the Cloud event.
