How to Set Selfie Wi-Fi Event Access and Photo Limits

Updated Today · 1 min readBeginner

Before you open an event to guests, check its access window, photo cap, and AI budget. These settings decide whether a guest can start, pay, or take another photo.

Note: The event’s start date and duration do not control guest access. Always check the opening and closing times.

Set the Access Window

  1. Open your event.
  2. Open the Selfie Wi-Fi tab.
  3. Set the opening time.
  4. Set the closing time.

Set the Photo Cap

  1. Enter the event photo cap.
  2. Check the current usage.

When the cap is reached, guests see that the event has reached its photo limit and are asked to contact the organizer. Checkout, voucher, and capture buttons can be hidden so guests do not try an action that cannot succeed.

Set the Daily AI Budget

  1. Enter the daily AI budget in USD.
  2. Check your available AI credits.

Note: The daily AI budget resets at midnight UTC. A budget of zero blocks AI photos. Regular photos do not use AI credits.

Check Readiness

  1. Review any payment readiness messages.
  2. Review any AI readiness messages.
  3. Scan the guest QR code with your own phone.

A saved draft, a preview, and a ready live event are three different states. Only a test on the live event link confirms what guests will see.

When a Guest Is Blocked

Read the exact message the guest sees before you change any settings. A reached photo limit, too few photos left for a purchase, unavailable Cloud access, and an expired voucher each need a different fix.

Note: Raising the photo cap or changing the QR code does not deliver a photo that is still pending. Check delivery separately.

And you’re good to go!
