Legacy Article: This article covers the legacy FMBooth (Windows + iPadOS) software. FMBooth (Windows + iPadOS) has been replaced by FMX. See FMX documentation →
Overview
The Dynamic Overlays feature allows guests to select which overlay will be applied to their final photo before printing.
Setup Instructions
Step 1: Prepare Your Overlay Folder
Before adding dynamic overlays to the Photo Layout editor, create a folder containing your desired overlay selections. Place this folder in the following directory:
C:\MirrorMeBooth\Overlays\Dynamic
Step 2: Add Overlays to the Layout Editor
- Open FMBooth software
- Navigate to the Layout tab
- Press the [Folder+] icon to add your overlay folder
How It Works
Once configured, guests will be able to choose from available overlays during the photo booth experience. The selected overlay will be automatically applied to their final photo before it is printed.
