Retake Photo Feature
Legacy Article: This article covers the legacy FMBooth (Windows + iPadOS) software. FMBooth (Windows + iPadOS) has been replaced by FMX. See FMX documentation →
The Retake Photo Feature allows clients to recapture images if they weren't prepared during the initial photo session. This feature can be enabled within your FMBooth software workflow.
Configuration Options
You can choose to enable the retake option at specific points in your workflow:
- Preview Last Raw Photo state
- Preview Final Photo state
- Or both states simultaneously
Example Setup
In the provided preset configuration, the retake option is enabled for the last raw photo preview while disabled for the final preview state. This gives flexibility in determining when clients can request to recapture their images.
How It Works
When enabled, clients who aren't satisfied with their initial shot can request a retake before proceeding. The software manages this workflow seamlessly, allowing you to control at which stage of the photo process retakes are permitted.
This feature enhances the user experience by ensuring clients have an opportunity to get the perfect shot without complications during the session workflow.
