What is Guided Access?
This feature restricts users to a single application by disabling hardware buttons and touch functions that would allow them to exit. It prevents accidental closure of FMBooth during operation.
iPad General Settings
Configure these options in Settings > Accessibility > Guided Access:
- Enable "Guided Access"
- Enable "Accessibility Shortcut"
- Enable "Mirror Display Auto Lock"
- Navigate to "Passcode Settings" → "Set Guided Access Passcode" and create a passcode
Software Settings
To activate: Open the app and triple-click the power button, then select Start. On first use, you'll need to enter your Guided Access passcode.
To deactivate: Triple-click the power button, enter your passcode, and select End.
