Positioning Thumbnails On The Multi Presets Selection Screen

Legacy Article: This article covers the legacy FMBooth (Windows + iPadOS) software. FMBooth (Windows + iPadOS) has been replaced by FMX. See FMX documentation →

Overview

To adjust thumbnail positioning on the multi presets selection screen, you need to access the folder containing your presets and work with several positioning parameters.

How to Access Positioning Settings

  1. Click on the folder that contains your presets
  2. Ensure you have loaded the correct thumbnails (refer to the multi presets feature guide for details)
  3. Locate the Thumbs position menu in the middle section

Thumbnail Positioning Parameters

You can control thumbnail appearance and placement using these adjustable settings:

  • Thumb Width/Height: Adjust the size of individual thumbnails
  • Horizontal/Vertical Gap: Control spacing between thumbnails
  • Row/Column Count: Determine how many thumbnails display per row and column
  • V/H-Center: Center thumbnails vertically or horizontally on the display

Adjusting Your Layout

Each value directly affects how thumbnails appear on your selection screen. By modifying these parameters, you can create a custom layout that matches your workflow preferences. Experimenting with different combinations of width, height, gaps, and alignment options allows you to optimize the visual organization of your preset thumbnails.
