Legacy Article: This article covers the legacy FMBooth (Windows + iPadOS) software. FMBooth (Windows + iPadOS) has been replaced by FMX. See FMX documentation →

Overview

This guide explains how to print both 4x6 and photo strips at the same event using Foto Master software.

Setup Instructions

1. Create Photo Strips Layout

First, establish a photo strips layout. Refer to the dedicated article for detailed guidance on this process.

2. Printer Configuration

Enable a 2-inch cut in your printer preferences. Follow the step-by-step instructions in the relevant article, specifically the section titled "Enabling 2-inch cut for a virtual copy of your printer."

3. Workflow Tab Settings

For each preset you've created:

  • Access the Workflow tab and navigate to the Print Copies feature
  • Press the settings icon
  • Select the designated printer for that specific preset
  • If you enabled printer global settings from the Settings tab, disable this option

Example Configuration:

  • Regular 4x6 layout: Select "DS-RX1"
  • Photo Strips preset: Select "DS-RX1 Strips" (the virtual printer copy with 2-inch cut enabled)

4. Multi Presets Setup

Create a multi-preset selection containing both your standard 4x6 layout and photo strips configuration. Consult the multi-presets feature setup instructions for detailed steps.

Result: You can now efficiently print both 4x6 and photo strip formats at a single event.
