How To Work With the Random Animation List

What is the Random Animation List?

The Random Animation state allows you to assign multiple animations to a single preset state. Rather than playing one fixed animation each time guests start a session, an animation will be selected randomly from the list you have prepared every time the workflow reaches that state.

How to Create a Random Animation List

  1. Add a new state to your workflow
  2. Select "Random Animation" as the state type (or convert an existing Animation state)
  3. The state will display as a list interface ready for configuration

Key Features

How it works: When guests begin a preset session, the system randomly selects one animation from your prepared list and plays it. Each time the workflow reaches this state, a different animation may be selected, creating variety without requiring multiple presets.

Setup process: You build a collection of animations within a single state rather than creating separate states for each animation variant.

Benefits

  • Guest experience variation: Visitors get a different animation experience each session while using the same preset
  • Simplified workflow: Manage multiple animation options within one state instead of duplicating entire presets
  • Efficiency: Reduces preset clutter when you want animation variety without full preset duplication

Basic Configuration

The interface allows you to add animations to your list. Once configured, the preset automatically handles the random selection during operation — no additional setup required per session.

This feature is particularly useful for maintaining engagement when running the same preset repeatedly, as guests will encounter different visual sequences rather than the identical animation every time.
