Using The Email Feature
Legacy Article: This article covers the legacy FMBooth (Windows + iPadOS) software. FMBooth (Windows + iPadOS) has been replaced by FMX. See FMX documentation →
Overview
The Email feature in FMBooth for Windows allows users to send photos directly to recipients via email during their workflow. This guide explains how to add and configure this functionality.
Adding the Feature to Your Workflow
- Navigate to the Workflow tab in FMBooth.
- Add a Feature state and select Email.
- Position the Email state after the Save Final Photo feature state.
- Start your preset.
How It Works
When the workflow reaches the Email feature state, an on-screen keyboard appears. Users can type an email address where they want the photo files sent. After entering the address, they may click Send to transmit the files or Skip to bypass the email option entirely.
Configuring Email Settings
To customize your Email feature:
- Open the Workflow tab.
- Locate the Email feature row.
- Click the settings icon in that row to access configuration options.
This allows you to adjust how the email feature behaves within your specific workflow setup.
