Slow Motion Capability

Legacy Article: This article covers the legacy FMBooth (Windows + iPadOS) software. FMBooth (Windows + iPadOS) has been replaced by FMX. See FMX documentation →

Overview

Slow-motion videos are created by recording at a high frame rate (such as 120 FPS) and playing back at a lower frame rate (such as 30 FPS), creating the slow-motion effect.

Requirements

  • Camera Support: Your camera must be supported by Foto Master Photo Booth software
  • High Frame Rate Recording: Camera must support video recording at 120+ FPS
  • Storage: An SD card is required for this feature
  • Workflow: Works with the DSLR Video Recording Feature
  • Preview: The software displays slow-motion preview using the Preview DSLR Video feature

Note: Instructions use Canon M50 as the example camera.
