Burst GIF Feature
The Burst GIF feature allows FMBooth to record video and automatically create a GIF from it.
Instructions
Add a Burst GIF feature state to your workflow between the Live View Start and Live View Stop features. You can also include a preview by adding the Preview Burst GIF feature state.
Live View Settings
Canon cameras require different ISO and white balance settings for camera mode versus video/live view mode. To adjust these:
- Open the Settings tab
- Navigate to Canon settings
- Enable Override Camera Settings
Burst GIF Settings
Recording options:
- Time: Set recording duration in milliseconds
- Frames Per Second: Choose the frame rate

Save options:
- Output WxH: Set file size (max 960 x 640 for DSLR; default is 720x480)
- Add Boomerang Effect: Reverses frames to double GIF length
- Trigger Next State on Save GIF: Wait for file to save before continuing

This feature creates GIFs from raw photos taken in your preset (use 3+ photos for best results).
Instructions

- Optionally add Preview GIF From Photos for preview display
- GIFs save to
C:\MirrorMeBooth\Events\{Event Name}\gif_from_photos
Note: Filters applied to final photos won't appear in GIFs since they're created from raw images.
