This guide explains how to synchronize event photos to a Dropbox folder, allowing clients to access and download images in real-time as they're uploaded.

Method 1: Using DropIt Application

Dropbox Setup

  1. Create a Dropbox account and download the desktop application from dropbox.com/desktop
  2. Open the application and create a new folder (right-click → "New" → "Folder")
  3. Name the folder appropriately (e.g., "Graduation")
  4. Share the folder link with clients by right-clicking and selecting "Share"

DropIt Configuration

  1. Download and install DropIt from dropitproject.com
  2. Right-click the DropIt icon and select Options
  3. Go to the Monitoring tab
  4. Check "Enable scan of monitored folders" and select "Immediate on-change"
  5. Click "Add" at the bottom, select the folder icon, and navigate to your event photos folder (This PC → C: → MirrorMeBooth → Events → [event name] → photos)
  6. Right-click the DropIt icon again and select Associations
  7. Click the + icon and configure:
    • Name: Custom association name
    • Rules: *
    • Action: Copy
    • Destination folder: Your Dropbox folder

This alternative method uses symbolic links to sync folders automatically.
