Photos Taken But Not Printing

Quick Checks First

  • Is the printer powered on with the ready light solid?
  • Is paper loaded with the ribbon from the same box?
  • Is the USB cable connected between the printer and booth PC?
  • Is the correct printer selected in FMX Global Settings → Printer Tab?

Printer Shows Ready But Nothing Prints

  1. In FMX Printer Tab, click Test Print. If it works, the workflow's print step may be misconfigured.
  2. Open Windows Devices and Printers and send a Windows test page. If that works but FMX doesn't, reinstall the DNP printer driver.

Print Job Stuck in Windows Queue

  1. Right-click the printer in Windows → See what's printing → Cancel all jobs.
  2. Restart Print Spooler service: Windows Search → Services → Print Spooler → Restart.

DNP Error Codes

  • E04: Paper jam, clear paper path, reload
  • E07: Ribbon end, load new ribbon/paper set
  • E08: Paper size mismatch, match FMX setting to loaded paper
  • E31/E32: Head temperature, cool 5 minutes, then resume
