Choosing Your Cloud Plan
Foto Master Cloud offers paid plans for companies that need connected software, event management, galleries, sharing, storage, and AI services. Eligible legacy customers may also have access to Pay As You Go.
Current prices, billing intervals, storage allowances, and features are shown in Foto Master Cloud and on the current pricing page. Your order and account control if they differ from a general description in this article.
Cloud Plans and Software Licenses Are Separate
A Cloud plan is charged per company or brand account and can connect multiple properly licensed devices. Current paid software licenses are generally required per device.
Having a Cloud plan does not automatically license unlimited software installations. A verified legacy FMX or PMWall entitlement may qualify for a product-specific upgrade exception; see Licensing: Legacy Lifetime vs. Current Subscription.
Basic
Basic is designed for operators who need the standard connected Foto Master Cloud experience, including:
- Online galleries and event management
- Remote device and event management
- Email, SMS, and QR sharing where supported
- Cloud storage and processing
- AI services at the Basic plan's usage rates
Pro
Pro includes the connected features in Basic and adds advanced capabilities shown in the current plan comparison, which may include:
- Private galleries
- Custom domains
- Expanded white-label branding
- Higher storage allowances
- Lower AI usage rates
Choose Pro when brand control, advanced gallery options, storage, or AI volume justify the higher plan.
Pay As You Go for Eligible Legacy Customers
PAYG is a legacy option for eligible lifetime-license customers using supported legacy software. It allows select usage-based services without the full Basic or Pro platform.
PAYG does not include the complete Cloud feature set, such as Cloud event management, online galleries, or remote management.
Important: Moving from Basic or Pro to PAYG permanently deletes all events, galleries, and event-related Cloud data after explicit confirmation. Purchased AI Credits remain while the account exists. See Managing Your Cloud Plan before making this change.
AI Credits
Cloud plans and AI Credits are related but separate:
- Plan-included credits reset at the end of each applicable billing cycle and do not roll over unless the order states otherwise.
- Purchased or auto-recharged credits remain until used while the account exists.
- AI usage rates depend on the active plan, feature, model, quality, and configuration.
- Credits are non-refundable and have no cash value.
- Account termination or deletion permanently removes unused purchased credits.
See Understanding AI Credits for the complete explanation.
Hardware Package Inclusions
Cloud, software, Virtual Mosaic, Support, or other services are included with hardware only when the applicable product package or order expressly lists them and only for the stated period. After that period, each selected component renews separately under its current terms.
Legacy FMX Customers
A verified lifetime FMX entitlement continues to cover the originally entitled legacy version and device. An eligible covered device can use current FMX without another FMX software-license fee while the company maintains an active paid Cloud plan.
This exception is limited to the verified entitlement. It does not create unlimited current FMX licenses across the company, and Support remains separate unless included in the order.
Choosing Between Basic and Pro
- Choose Basic for the standard connected Cloud experience.
- Choose Pro for advanced branding, gallery, storage, or AI-rate benefits shown in the current plan comparison.
- Use PAYG only if the account is eligible and the loss of Cloud events and event data has been reviewed and confirmed.
Upgrades normally take effect immediately with a prorated charge for the remaining paid period. A Pro-to-Basic downgrade is non-destructive but removes Pro-only features and remains subject to Basic limits.
Cancellation and Grace Period
Canceling stops future renewal; it does not create a refund for the current period. Service normally remains active through the paid term. After expiration, the account may enter the stated grace period, online galleries may go offline, and the account may be terminated if payment is not restored. Account termination deletes stored data and unused purchased credits.
A proactive move to PAYG is different from cancellation: it requires explicit confirmation, deletes event data, and preserves purchased credits while the account remains open.
