Understanding AI Credits
AI Credits are used for eligible AI and usage-based services in Foto Master Cloud. The number of credits used depends on the feature, model, quality, configuration, and active Cloud plan.
The exact cost of an operation is displayed in the applicable feature settings, workflow, purchase page, or usage report.
Two Types of AI Credit Balance
Plan-Included Credits
Some plans or orders may include a recurring AI Credit allocation.
- Plan-included credits reset at the end of the applicable billing cycle.
- Unused plan-included credits do not roll over unless the order expressly states otherwise.
- The amount and renewal timing are shown in the current plan details or customer account.
Purchased Credits
Purchased credits are credits added separately through a manual purchase or authorized auto-recharge.
- Purchased credits remain until used while the account exists.
- They remain when upgrading or moving from Pro to Basic.
- They remain after a confirmed downgrade to PAYG, although the PAYG downgrade deletes events and event-related Cloud data.
- They are non-refundable and have no cash value.
- They are permanently deleted if the account is terminated or deleted.
How Credits Are Used
When a workflow uses an eligible AI feature:
- The workflow sends the applicable request.
- The current credit cost is applied.
- Credits are deducted from the available balance.
- The processed output is returned to the workflow.
If no usable credits remain, paid AI features pause until credits are added or a new plan allocation becomes available. Non-AI features continue according to the active Cloud plan.
Pricing by Plan
AI usage rates can differ between PAYG, Basic, Pro, and other packages. Rates may also differ by feature, AI model, output quality, or configuration.
Always confirm the current rate in Foto Master Cloud before enabling a feature for an event. Material rate increases are communicated under the applicable Terms and Subscription Policy.
Checking Balances and Usage
Depending on the current Cloud interface, balances and usage may be available from:
- The dashboard account summary
- Billing or Billing & Plan
- AI Credit purchase history
- Analytics or Credit Usage reports
Usage reports can help identify which features and events consume the most credits.
Plan Changes, Cancellation, and Account Deletion
| Action | Plan-included credits | Purchased credits | Event data |
|---|---|---|---|
| Upgrade | Replaced or adjusted under the new plan cycle | Retained | Retained |
| Pro to Basic | Subject to the Basic plan cycle | Retained | Retained, subject to Basic limits |
| Basic or Pro to PAYG | Paid-plan allocation ends | Retained | Permanently deleted after confirmation |
| Cancel and allow the account to expire | Paid-plan allocation ends | Available only while the account remains open | Subject to grace, termination, and deletion rules |
| Account termination or deletion | Deleted | Deleted | Deleted |
Canceling a paid plan is not the same as proactively moving to PAYG. A canceled or unpaid account may enter a grace period and later be terminated. Customers who need to preserve purchased credits should review the destructive PAYG transition before their paid plan expires.
