Online Galleries Overview
Online galleries are one of the most powerful features of Foto Master Cloud. They give your guests a beautiful, branded space to view, download, and share their photos from any device. Photos appear in the gallery in real time as they're taken, creating an engaging experience that extends far beyond the booth itself.
What Are Online Galleries?
An online gallery is a web-based photo gallery hosted on Foto Master Cloud that is automatically created for each event. When a guest takes a photo at your booth, the image is uploaded to the Cloud and appears in the event's gallery within seconds.
Each gallery provides:
- A dedicated gallery page for the event, accessible via a link or QR code.
- Individual landing pages for each photo making it easy for guests to find and share their specific images.
- Download options for guests to save their photos to their devices.
- Sharing buttons so guests can post their photos to social media directly from the gallery.
- Responsive design that works on any device -- phone, tablet, or desktop.
Real-Time Sync
Photos appear in your online gallery instantly after they're taken at the booth. There's no delay, no manual upload step, and no post-event processing required. Guests can scan a QR code at the booth and immediately see their photo in the gallery on their phone.
This real-time sync means:
- Guests can share their photos on social media while they're still at the event.
- Event hosts can monitor the gallery live to see the action as it happens.
- You don't need to do anything after the event to make photos available -- they're already there.
Individual Landing Pages
Every photo in the gallery gets its own individual landing page with a unique URL. This is especially useful for:
- Direct sharing -- When a guest receives their photo via email or SMS, the link takes them to their specific photo's landing page, not the full gallery.
- Social media sharing -- Each photo has proper metadata so it displays well when shared on social platforms.
- Privacy -- Guests can access and share their own photos without needing to browse through everyone else's images.
Plan Availability
Online galleries are available on Basic and Pro plans only:
- Basic -- Full gallery functionality with standard branding options.
- Pro -- Full gallery functionality with advanced branding, custom domains, and white-label options.
How Guests Access Galleries
There are several ways for guests to reach your event's gallery:
QR Code
Generate a QR code for your event and display it at the booth. Guests scan the code with their phone to open the gallery instantly. This is the most common method for on-site access.
See Sharing Gallery Links & QR Codes for details on generating and displaying QR codes.
Direct Link
Share a direct URL to the gallery via email, SMS, or any messaging platform. You can also post the link on social media or your website.
Embed on Your Website
Embed the gallery directly on your website so visitors can browse event photos without leaving your site.
See Embedding Galleries on Your Website for instructions.
Email or SMS Delivery
When you enable email or SMS sharing for an event, guests receive a message with a link to their individual photo landing page. From there, they can also navigate to the full gallery.
