Getting Started with Foto Master Cloud (FMX Context)

Updated Last week · 2 min readBeginner

Foto Master Cloud is where FMX presets and events are prepared before they sync to the booth. It brings workflow building, layout design, video output, AI tools, assets, analytics, and remote event management into one dashboard.

FMX Windows preset page with Workflows, Layouts, and Video Outputs tabs
Open Presets → FMX (Windows), then choose Workflows, Layouts, or Video Outputs for the asset you want to create.

Why Use Foto Master Cloud

Use the Cloud when you want to prepare or update an event without opening the booth computer.

Foto Master Cloud helps you:

  • Build the guest workflow
  • Design photo layouts
  • Create or edit video outputs
  • Manage event assets
  • Use ready-made presets and templates
  • Push changes to assigned booths
  • Monitor event and gallery activity

Main Editors

Workflow Builder

Controls the booth experience: steps, triggers, animations, capture actions, AI actions, sharing, printing, and guest interactions.

Layout Builder

Controls the final photo design: photo placement, overlays, text, graphics, QR codes, and branding.

Video Builder

Controls video outputs: clips, overlays, pre-rolls, post-rolls, filters, audio, and export behavior.

Built-In AI Tools

Foto Master Cloud includes tools for creating assets and AI-powered experiences. Use them to generate layouts, create AI effects, prepare branded content, and build more advanced workflows.

Use more than one AI service

FMX can run several AI services from one captured source. Put the services in the same batch before one loading Animation whose outgoing transition is AI Processed. That wait completes only after the whole batch finishes, so the guest can see one consistent loading screen.

When a later AI service must use an earlier AI result, split the work into batches and add an AI Processed wait between them. This makes the dependency explicit and prevents the later request from reusing the original capture. Every service consumes its own AI credits, even when several use the same source.

See How to Run Multiple AI Services in One FMX Workflow for batching, loaders, output selection, failures, and long-running video handoff.

Collect and deliver cloud data

Cloud workflows can also collect guest answers and hand results to other services:

  • Build Surveys for structured choices, ratings, and free-text answers.
  • Use the QR Code step for Cloud landing pages, custom destinations, and current-media links.
  • Use Webhooks for HTTPS delivery of selected values or Base64 media.

These steps require the relevant Cloud Sync options. FMX checks the workflow before starting and can offer to enable missing required sync services.

Syncing To FMX

After saving changes in the Cloud, sync the event in FMX. Always run a test session after syncing so you can confirm the workflow, layout, sharing, printing, and AI output behave as expected.
