How to Create a Lenticular Photo with a Logo and Guest Photo
Photos to Lenticular in FMX can be used to create a unique two-image lenticular experience, where one side shows the guest's original photo and the other side displays your logo or another preferred image.
This setup is ideal for branded events, corporate activations, weddings, product launches, and other experiences where you want to turn a guest photo into a personalized branded keepsake.
How It Works
The workflow uses the guest's original photo as the first image and an AI-generated image containing your logo or preferred visual as the second image.
When the finished Lenticular Photo is viewed from different angles, the image changes between the guest's photo and the branded image, creating an interactive effect.
Setting Up the Workflow
After the guest takes their photo, follow these steps to create the Lenticular Photo.
1. Add an AI Combine Node
After the guest photo capture, add an AI Combine node to your workflow.
For the Reference Image, upload your logo or the image you want to appear as the second image of the Lenticular Photo.
In the Prompt field, instruct AI Combine to use the reference image to cover the entire image area.
For example:
"Use the reference image to cover the whole image area."
The goal is to create an output that uses your provided logo or image across the entire frame.
2. Add a Single Animation
After the AI Combine node, add a Single Animation node.
For the animation, select one of the animations from the FM Link's Preloader folder.
Set the trigger for the Single Animation node to AI Processed.
This allows the animation to play while the AI Combine result is being processed, helping create a smoother guest experience instead of leaving the guest waiting without visual feedback.
3. Add Photos to Lenticular
Right after the Single Animation node, add the Photos to Lenticular feature.
In the Photos to Lenticular settings, configure the two images as follows:
First Image: Raw
Second Image: AI Combine
The Raw image represents the guest's original photo, while the AI Combine image provides the branded image created using your logo or preferred reference image.
4. Generate the Lenticular Photo
Once the workflow is complete, FMX will use the two selected images to generate the Lenticular Photo.
The final result will contain:
First image: The guest's original photo.
Second image: The AI Combine output featuring your logo or preferred image.
When the Lenticular Photo is viewed from different angles, it will switch between the guest's photo and the branded image.
Creating a Branded Guest Experience
This workflow is a simple way to combine personalization and branding in a single photo booth experience.
The guest receives a Lenticular Photo featuring their own photo, while your logo or branded artwork is incorporated into the second image. This makes the final result more memorable and gives your brand an additional opportunity to remain part of the guest's keepsake.
For the best results, use a logo or reference image that works well when expanded to fill the entire image area. You can also experiment with different reference images and AI Combine prompts to create different branded looks.
Recommended Workflow
The complete workflow can be summarized as:
Guest Photo → AI Combine → Preloader Animation → Photos to Lenticular
AI Combine
Reference Image: Your logo or preferred image
Prompt: Instruct the AI to use the reference image to cover the whole image area
Single Animation
Animation: Select one from the FM Link's Preloader folder
Trigger: AI Processed
Photos to Lenticular
First Image: Raw
Second Image: AI Combine
This workflow creates a Lenticular Photo that combines the guest's original photo with your branded image, providing a simple but engaging way to add branding to the photo booth experience.
