What Is the Offline Gallery
The Offline Gallery is a full-screen, kiosk-friendly viewer that displays all media created at your event—final photos, videos, and GIFs.
It runs locally from your event folders, making it fast, reliable, and fully functional even without internet access.
You can preview, share (Email, SMS, QR), and print photos directly from one screen.
What Appears in the Gallery
Supported media types:
Photos: JPG, JPEG, PNG
Videos: MP4
GIFs: GIF
Media items appear newest first with thumbnails.
When opened, videos and GIFs auto-play silently.
Why It’s Useful
Perfect for staff-assisted sharing: Let guests pick their favorite result and resend it instantly.
Works offline: Uses local files and can queue Email/SMS or generate QR links even without internet.
Streamlined workflow: Guests can share or print from one simple screen—no need to restart the experience.
How to Open the Offline Gallery
Top-left long press: Hold the top-left corner of the screen for about 3 seconds to toggle the gallery.
Keyboard shortcut: Press Ctrl + G to show or hide the gallery.
How to Use the Offline Gallery
Browse tiles: Scroll to find the desired item (newest items appear first).
Open preview: Tap or click a tile to view it larger. Photos show the full image; videos and GIFs play silently.
Share or print:
Email: Opens an email form.
SMS: Opens a text message form.
QR Code: Displays a scannable link for self-sharing.
Print: Sends the selected photo to the printer (available for photos only).
Close preview: Tap outside, press Esc, or click X to return to the gallery grid.
How to Close the Offline Gallery
Toggle the same way you opened it:
Long-press the top-left corner again, or
Press Ctrl + G.
Controlling Which Share Buttons Appear
Location: Global Settings → Sharing Settings → Offline Gallery
Available toggles:
Show Email in Offline Gallery
Show SMS in Offline Gallery
Show QR in Offline Gallery
Show Print in Offline Gallery (photos only)
Why it matters:
Customize the gallery for your event needs.
Simplify the interface for faster, error-free use.
Match venue policies (e.g., disable Print where no printer is available).
Important: Saving Settings
Changes made in Global Settings take effect immediately but are only saved permanently after you click Save Changes.
This lets you safely test configurations during setup without committing them until you’re ready.
Tips & Best Practices
Keep it minimal: Enable only the share options you need.
Print = photos only: The Print button appears only for photos.
Performance note: Short thumbnail delays before playback are normal.
Visual consistency: The gallery background uses your Workflow Background color for a unified look.
